Mr. Ismail Awad Allah Al-Aqib, the governor-designate of Gezira State, renewed his thanks and appreciation for the popular initiatives to support the armed forces in the war of dignity against the rebels and mercenaries.
When addressing him this morning, the governor expressed his pride and admiration for the citizens of the state who raced to support the armed forces.
For his part, Major General Ahmed Al-Tayeb, commander of the 1st Infantry Division, said that the war with the rebels does not accept neutrality, and that the armed forces defend the pride and dignity of the Sudanese people.
Mr. Musab Youssef, representative of the villages of Sharq and Wad Rawa, affirmed that the people of the region stand with the armed forces in one trench against the rebels and hired soldiers, and the continuation of the convoys until victory is achieved.
On the other hand, the commander of the 1st Infantry Division in Madani received the convoy of support and advocacy that was conducted by the village of Al-Hudaybah Abu Al-Hassan in Umm Al-Qura locality, where the commander of the 1st Infantry Division confirmed the control of the armed forces on the battle, and the rebels suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment.
He said that the current war aims to destroy the country’s capabilities, and referred to the systematic destruction used by the rebel militias to destroy the infrastructure of civil institutions and others.
Mr. Fateh al-Rahman Muhammad Ahmed, Director General of the Ministry of Welfare and Social Development, representative of the governor, stated that the convoy expresses the stand of the people of the Hudayba region with the armed forces, and it represents great moral support for the armed forces to confront the rebels.
According to SUNA, Professor Khalafallah Ahmed Al-Sharif, representative of Al-Hudayba region, affirmed that the people of the region stand with the armed forces to defeat the rebellious Rapid Support militia, and said that the armed forces are the country’s safety valve.
