Member of the Sovereignty Council, Al-Taher Abu Bakr Hajar, was briefed on the preparations of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments for the Hajj season 1444 AH, and the current arrangements for announcing the procedures.
Hajar met in his office with the delegation of the Higher Coordinating Committee for Hajj Arrangements 1444 AH.
Acting Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments Abd al-Ati Ahmed Abbas said in a press statement, according to the shout, that he provided additional enlightenment to the member of the Sovereign Council about the arrangements for organizing this year’s Hajj in terms of housing, feeding, sentiments, and cost, and stated that he was assured of all the services provided to pilgrims from his departure from his home until his return from Holy Land.
Abdel Ati said that the meeting touched on the problems facing the pilgrim in some transport and transfers, adding that the Sovereign member promised to overcome all these obstacles. He added, “We give good news to the people of Sudan that this year’s Hajj will be a distinguished Hajj.” He added that the ministry will hold a press conference on Thursday at the headquarters of the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah to announce all Hajj procedures. He said that immediately after the announcement, the lottery and submission will begin immediately.
