Training (50) journalists in Kordofan on democratic transition – Kush News
In the city of Dilling in the state of South Kordofan, a workshop was launched to train (50) journalists and media workers on democratic transformation, “peace-building, conflict resolution, and helping societies in social and economic construction.” It targets journalists and media professionals from the states of West and South Kordofan, from 16-21 March.
The workshop began, according to (SUNA), in a procedural manner, on Thursday, and the opening session today, Friday, witnessed the presence of some community leaders, as well as journalists and media professionals.
The Director of the University of Dalling, Prof. Muhammad Dafa Allah, said that the workshop program (Towards Lasting Peace in Sudan) is held in cooperation with the Center for Peace Studies at the university, and aims to introduce journalists and media professionals to local issues facing societies, discuss mechanisms for presenting them, and contribute to building societies.
