A number of Sudanese students admitted to Turkish universities filed a complaint with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs against the background of the Turkish embassy’s refusal to grant them a visa to enter the country after they had been admitted to Turkish universities.

The representative of the Sudanese students, Al-Tayeb Abdullah, said that the TSA office responsible for visa procedures continued to deal with the students with vagueness and extortion, according to his description, which affected a large number of students.

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, according to Al-Youm Al-Tali newspaper, that what the Turkish embassy did by not granting study visas to Sudanese students is unfortunate and unacceptable.

He added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be strict in this matter by reviewing the complaints submitted by the students and taking the necessary measures.
