Cancellation of the integration of prison forces, civil defense and wildlife with the police

Within the framework of structuring, developing and reforming the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant-General, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, the first pillar, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, issued a Sovereign Decision No. (490) for the year 2022 AD, according to which the merger issued by Resolutions (25/61) for the year 1992 AD for prison forces, civil defense forces, and wildlife protection forces was canceled With the police to become parallel forces with the Ministry of the Interior.

The decision came, according to The Next Day newspaper, after a comprehensive study and evaluation of the integration experience for more intonation and recommendations of conferences held within specialized departments and a workshop at the ministry level in which (4) working papers were presented in line with the transitional cabinet decision No. (104) for the year 2021 AD to achieve the principle of specialization in Police work and federal, state and local deployment at the country level.
