Sudan participates in international standardization meetings – Kush News

The meetings of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) will continue during the period from 19-23 September in the national capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, where Sudan was represented by a high-level delegation that included Mr. Othman Hussein, Minister of the Council of Ministers, and Mrs. Rahba Saeed Abdullah, Director General of the National Organization for Standardization.

The participation represents a good opportunity to activate and renew the authority’s relations with its counterpart bodies, as extensive meetings were held with each of the directors and delegations of standardization bodies, including the Chinese, Indian delegation, the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining, in addition to the New CEOs Meeting, the American delegation ASTM and the Australian delegation .

Rahba confirmed, according to (SUNA), that the meetings opened up very good and good opportunities in the areas of conformity assessment and training for the benefit of Sudan.
