The head of the Capital Markets Regulatory Authority, Dr. Azmi Shawki, praised the Khartoum International Airport Fund, and expressed his happiness for this project, during a speech he delivered at the inauguration ceremony of the Khartoum International Airport Fund at Corinthia Hotel in Khartoum. He said that the Khartoum International Airport Fund will contribute to the development of the airport to attract passengers. And he made Sudan a link between countries because its distinguished geographical location in the heart of Africa makes it one of the most qualified countries for that.

Dr. Azmy said that the Capital Markets Regulatory Authority is a supervisory body that plays the role of protecting the investor, and that it is similar to the Central Bank of Sudan, which is considered a protector of depositors’ money in the banking system.

Dr. Azmy pointed out that the Capital Markets Regulatory Authority is the one that protects the investor and is fully responsible for ratifying public shareholding companies and then ratifying the capital markets, as Hyper Deal Financial Limited is listed on the Khartoum Stock Exchange of the first category, and it has extensive experience in investment funds It owns about 69% of the market size.
On the third of this month, Hyperdeal Financial Company inaugurated the Khartoum International Airport Development Fund, which will be listed on the Khartoum Stock Exchange. Dr. Azmy explained that this fund is considered a national fund, but all parties from institutions and investors in all countries can invest in it, and added, That the process of listing the fund in the Khartoum Stock Exchange allows the investor to buy and sell the shares he owns or exit the fund at any time in the life of the fund.

At the conclusion of his speech, Dr. Azmi Shawky said that the authority’s role is a supervisory role based on periodic inspection to ensure that investors’ funds are managed in preservation and preservation.
