Ambassador Kamal Gebara presents his credentials to the Kenyan President
Yesterday, Friday, Ambassador Kamal Gebara Mohamed Saleh presented his credentials to President Uhuru Kenyatta as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Sudan to the Republic of Kenya.
According to SUNA, the ambassador conveyed to President Kenyatta the greetings of Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereign Council, and stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, and the need for coordination of positions and cooperation in regional and international forums.
For his part, President Kenyatta expressed his welcome to the ambassador, and expressed his readiness and all Kenyan official bodies and institutions to facilitate the ambassador’s mission in the service of common interests. He also requested to convey his greetings to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, stressing the need to develop relations between the two countries towards broader horizons.
The ceremony of presenting the credentials was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya and a number of the ministry’s leadership as well as members of the embassy.
