The Director of the Media and Public Relations Department of the Police, Brigadier General Dr. Hassan Al-Tijani, confirmed that the martyr Brigadier General Ali Brima was subjected to a fierce attack while he was in the Al-Tamin area in Sharoni Square, next to the Astak factory, from an unarmed group, who was treacherously stabbed in the back when he was helping one of the wounded soldiers from his forces, describing the operation as a heinous crime.
